Reduce electricity bills with LED luminaires
The sale of 230 V halogen lamps was prohibited in 2018, just like the sale of standard incandescent light bulbs. Many indoor luminaires still feature these bulbs in the classic standard, drop, and candle shape with their inert gas fill – but they are absolute energy wasters when compared with modern LED technology.
Their high energy use certainly advocates for the modern alternatives to halogen lamps. LEDs with a service life of up to 25,000 hours use more than 80% less energy than their halogen counterpart. A halogen lamp with a typical brightness of 806 lumen (which is the same as the brightness of the old 60 W incandescent light bulb) requires 42 W. An LED lamp, on the other hand, consumes just 7.5 W at the same brightness. A halogen lamp therefore requires almost 6 times as much as an LED.
- The switchover to LED will save you money!
- Create your personal style by combining a variety of lamps.
- Small LED chips are used in them.
- They emit the same warm white light with a 2,700 K colour temperature as the standard incandescent light bulb.
Ceiling renovation made easy and with efficiency gains
Where old recessed luminaires are still used in ceilings or even under canopies, considerable energy savings can be achieved. In addition to the possibilities described for replacing lamps in existing luminaires with LEDs, Paulmann offers another universal solution to the problem in the form of VariFit LED recessed panels.
Complete replacement in no time at all
Regardless of the luminaire size of the predecessor lighting, money-savers can simply replace the entire old installation here with the super-flat, efficient and brightly shining LED recessed panels. The trick: the panels have pre-mounted flexibly adjustable clamping springs that can be conveniently adapted to any old drill hole (mounting hole sizes and shapes between 45 and 200 mm) and can be quickly inserted and elegantly cover it.
