Zigbee luminaires and other fixed Zigbee devices are an important part of the wireless network. Only if they are permanently supplied with power can they transmit radio signals to other devices and thus contribute to the stability of the network.
If a device is switched off via the light switch, it is no longer accessible - other luminaires or sensors may lose their connectors as a result. The Gateway can also only work reliably if all on devices are accessible.
If a Zigbee luminaire is de-energised, the System no longer knows its current status. Automation, schedules or scenes cannot then be executed as the device is not available for the smart home system.
The following therefore applies to the reliable use of smart light: switch on the power and control the light smartly.
Switching on and off is done via app, remote control or button - not via the classic wall switch. In the sun, the Zigbee network remains stable, automations work reliably and your smart home reacts exactly as you expect it to
