The innovative, smart coins can also be used in combination with existing light installations. If you have already installed recessed spotlights with a diameter of 51Â mm, you can simply switch over to the energy-saving LED modules. The old lamp is removed, the RGBW coin connected with quick clips and you are ready to go! Depending on your mood, you can select between daylight white, coloured light and various other effects. A diode in white (W) additionally provides a cosy warm white light and makes it unnecessary to mix a white tone from the colours red, green and blue (RGB). The luminaire is Zigbee 3.0-compatible. Zigbee 3.0 is a radio transmission protocol that interconnects devices from different manufacturers. This allows not only the centralised control of lighting; shutters, heating and alarm systems, for example, can also be integrated. To control the coins, you can choose between a gateway for the same standard by a different manufacturer, or a Smart Home Zigbee 3.0 hand-held transmitter. Individual components can be addressed, or switched on and off in groups as lighting scenarios.
