Colour consistency

Colour consistency is the uniformity of colour temperature in LED lamps. Maintaining a high colour consistency is crucial for colour matching between different lamps, ensuring a harmonious lighting ambience. Paulmann’s “Eye friendly” lamps boast exceptional colour consistency, delivering uniform white tones within the same spectrum range, guaranteeing a seamless lighting experience.

Colour rendering

Artificial lighting can cause eye strain due to flickering, glare, and inadequate colour rendering. However, natural light mimics the optimal lighting conditions experienced outdoors, reducing the strain on our eyes. This can lead to improved focus and productivity levels. The colour rendering index measures an LED lamp’s ability to reproduce colours naturally. A high score indicates better colour rendering, which is critical for accurately seeing colours under light. Paulmann’s “Eye friendly” lamps have a colour rendering index of 80 Ra or greater.

Photobiological safety

It’s important to choose lighting with your health and wellbeing in mind. Prolonged exposure to blue light, UV and Infrared fractions can lead to eye strain and sometimes more serious conditions. Photobiological safety refers to the light produced by LED lamps that is safe for human health. Products that meet these safety standards ensure that they have no harmful effects on the eyes or skin and can therefore be used in a variety of applications without concern. Paulmann’s “Eye friendly” lamps are photobiologically safe, with minimal blue light, UV and infrared fractions.

Flickering and stroboscopic effects

LED lamps are consistent in their glow, with minimal flickering and stroboscopic effects, providing constant light without visible fluctuations.
