Paulmann donated €10,000 to the Christmas charity campaign run by the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung (HAZ) newspaper. In 2025, the HAZ Christmas Aid campaign will enter its 51st season. Since 1975, readers, companies, associations and organisations have been helping people in need in the local area. Paulmann Managing Director Thorsten Streppelhoff (right) invited HAZ editor Heiko Randermann to the handover of the donation to the HAZ Christmas Aid campaign. ‘We actively take responsibility for our society,’ said Streppelhoff, who, together with Thomas Hamann (left), presented HAZ editor Heiko Randermann with a cheque for €10,000. Thorsten Streppelhoff also presented an aid project for children in Ukraine who have had traumatic experiences as a result of the war. The company is supporting the WeAreAllUkrainians initiative by selling charity Christmas baubles. In 2025, Paulmann also financed an ambulance, which the aid organisation within the Christian Ukrainian parish of St. Volodymyr brought directly to the war zone in Kharkiv.
