As soon as someone approaches, the outdoor light is switched to 100 % brightness and 3,000 Kelvin by the built-in motion detector. After about 30 seconds, it switches back to the stored light color and brightness. If desired, the orientation light can also be deactivated via the wall switch, in which case the luminaires are only switched via the motion detector. The motion detector can also be deactivated, in which case the luminaires are only switched on and off by the twilight sensor. The solar luminaires produce warm gold light (2200 K) with a low blue component. According to studies, warm, long-wave light generally attracts fewer nocturnal insects than cool white light.
